The Black Powecom ® KN95 personal respirator, which ships from stock directly from our Mount Vernon, NY warehouse, is a respirator face mask made of a multi-layer filtration system of non-woven breathable fibers and is utilized globally. The Powecom ® KN95 filtration material has been tested multiple times by NPPTL and the CDC and has tested well above 95% filtration of particles 0.3 µm (microns) or larger. Made to Current GB2626-2019 Standard
The Powecom KN95, made to the new standard, will be the same size, shape and use the same production process. The improvement will be from the new melt blown polypropylene cotton filter layer which will upgrade the breathability factor (respiratory resistance) of the mask. This new enhancement will help make it easier to breathe for the user while still offering filter efficiency greater than 95%.

MATERIAL:

  • 46% non-woven polypropelene, 28% melt-blown fabric, 26% ES hot air cotton.
  • Ear loops: Latex free
  • Nose piece: Adjustable metal

FEATURES:

  • Construction: Multi-layer filtration system of non-woven soft and breathable fibers.
  • All respirators manufactured after May 20th, 2020 are affixed with an anti-fake sticker that can be used to verify authenticity. Click here to learn more.

CARE AND USE:

  • Keep the face mask clean before use. Do not touch the rear side of the face mask.
  • Do not wash the face mask with water. Water will destroy the filtering ability and protective nature of the mask.
  • Do not steam the face mask or put it in the microwave.
  • Keep the face mask away from vapor, oils, chemicals, paints, liquid, acid, and alkaline objects.
  • Make sure to discard the face mask when it becomes visibily dirty or breathing resistance increases remarkably.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • KN95 mask is not intended for use as a surgical mask or to provide liquid barrier protection.

    I was happy to find these masks before traveling over the holidays. I went to DC and Atlanta and made it through my 8 day trip without getting Covid. I wore them in the airport and on the plane and every time I was out in public or in stores. They are pretty breathable, though I did have some issues with foggy glasses, especially if you are doing anything that might cause you to breath a little heavier, like trying to move swiftly through an airport or hefting your luggage. The nose wire just didn't get as "closed" as I would like. I thought I didn't want head loops, but in the end, I did wish for them because my ears started to ache after wearing the mask all day, especially with glasses. Might try an extender, but then I worry about proper fit. I do recommend these masks and may buy more in the future!

    For those who are sensitive to odors, these do smell different to the white ones, possibly from the dye. Most people won't mind or notice.

    I placed and order on Dec 6th with the expectation of it arriving by the14th. I received an email that it was shipped on the 13th! I ordered those for a trip I left for on the 14th. It was suggested I pay for the more expensive shipping to ensure more accurate delivery time so I did but if it didn't ship it until the 13th it had no chance of getting here on time. I am very disappointed I did not have these for my trip. I emailed the customer service address who offered to overnight the cheaper masksof the 2 kinds in my order on the 14th even though I said I was leaving town the 14th. When I pointed that out I was just told sorry.

    These masks fit a variety of face shapes and head sizes really well. They're comfortable and affordable. This is the only place I'll order masks from.

    I have a relatively small head and my husband's is medium-large. We both find that we can get a snug comfortable fit with these masks, superior fit to normal surgical masks and more comfortable to wear.
