The Black Powecom ® KN95 personal respirator, which ships from stock directly from our Mount Vernon, NY warehouse, is a respirator face mask made of a multi-layer filtration system of non-woven breathable fibers and is utilized globally. The Powecom ® KN95 filtration material has been tested multiple times by NPPTL and the CDC and has tested well above 95% filtration of particles 0.3 µm (microns) or larger. Made to Current GB2626-2019 Standard
The Powecom KN95, made to the new standard, will be the same size, shape and use the same production process. The improvement will be from the new melt blown polypropylene cotton filter layer which will upgrade the breathability factor (respiratory resistance) of the mask. This new enhancement will help make it easier to breathe for the user while still offering filter efficiency greater than 95%.

MATERIAL:

  • 46% non-woven polypropelene, 28% melt-blown fabric, 26% ES hot air cotton.
  • Ear loops: Latex free
  • Nose piece: Adjustable metal

FEATURES:

  • Construction: Multi-layer filtration system of non-woven soft and breathable fibers.
  • All respirators manufactured after May 20th, 2020 are affixed with an anti-fake sticker that can be used to verify authenticity. Click here to learn more.

CARE AND USE:

  • Keep the face mask clean before use. Do not touch the rear side of the face mask.
  • Do not wash the face mask with water. Water will destroy the filtering ability and protective nature of the mask.
  • Do not steam the face mask or put it in the microwave.
  • Keep the face mask away from vapor, oils, chemicals, paints, liquid, acid, and alkaline objects.
  • Make sure to discard the face mask when it becomes visibily dirty or breathing resistance increases remarkably.

  • KN95 mask is not intended for use as a surgical mask or to provide liquid barrier protection.

    I've purchased many sets of masks, but these are by far the most comfortable KN95 masks I've worn. The black mask also keeps everything looking clean and professional for work. Highly recommend!

    Scratchy and Smell Like...

    I paid $15.00 extra for faster delivery. After not receiving the masks for a month due to supply chain problems I emailed the owner but did not hear back. When I called the owner and said the masks had not arrived he said he'd call me back in 1.5 hours. He never called back but the masks were delivered the next morning. The earloop masks fit okay, but they are scratchy and some smell strongly of solvent. I cannot use these and wonder if they are safe. The head loop ones don't seem to have the solvent smell. I bought these because Wirecutter said Bona Fide were trusted vendors of real KN95 masks. This may be true, but it was a very expensive and time-consuming way to get them and then not be able to use 1/2 of them.

    I am a junior high school teacher who wears a mask basically 8 hours a day. I was not sure how I would like the ear loops. I have sensitive ears and even the ear loops on the plain blue medical masks hurt and irritate my ears after a few hours. I have been wearing the KN95 with headbands. I bought these for my son, but grabbed one by accident and ended up wearing it all day. I had no issues with my ears at all. They were comfortable all day and you can't beat the safety and breathability of the KN95.

    These are excellent masks. They are comfortable with a very good seal. No glasses fogging up!
