The Black Powecom ® KN95 personal respirator, which ships from stock directly from our Mount Vernon, NY warehouse, is a respirator face mask made of a multi-layer filtration system of non-woven breathable fibers and is utilized globally. The Powecom ® KN95 filtration material has been tested multiple times by NPPTL and the CDC and has tested well above 95% filtration of particles 0.3 µm (microns) or larger. Made to Current GB2626-2019 Standard
The Powecom KN95, made to the new standard, will be the same size, shape and use the same production process. The improvement will be from the new melt blown polypropylene cotton filter layer which will upgrade the breathability factor (respiratory resistance) of the mask. This new enhancement will help make it easier to breathe for the user while still offering filter efficiency greater than 95%.

MATERIAL:

  • 46% non-woven polypropelene, 28% melt-blown fabric, 26% ES hot air cotton.
  • Ear loops: Latex free
  • Nose piece: Adjustable metal

FEATURES:

  • Construction: Multi-layer filtration system of non-woven soft and breathable fibers.

CARE AND USE:

  • Keep the face mask clean before use. Do not touch the rear side of the face mask.
  • Do not wash the face mask with water. Water will destroy the filtering ability and protective nature of the mask.
  • Do not steam the face mask or put it in the microwave.
  • Keep the face mask away from vapor, oils, chemicals, paints, liquid, acid, and alkaline objects.
  • Make sure to discard the face mask when it becomes visibily dirty or breathing resistance increases remarkably.

  • KN95 mask is not intended for use as a surgical mask or to provide liquid barrier protection.

    I had an earlier version of white Powecom KN95 mask. The new mask is marginally easier to breathe through when I exercise. It fits well. And the ear loops seem a little looser. The black mask has a faint cilantro odor. The verification code worked better than it did with the white mask six months ago. Overall I am satisfied and will get it again.

    Like many others, I’ve purchased and tried many, many masks in the past few months. Several had excellent filtration but mediocre fit-to-the-face. These masks have excellent filtration AND really fit well. Tight to the face but comfortable due to design and construction. The mask does not touch my lips or mouth. Best masks I have found and very reasonably priced.

    I ordered these KN95 masks after reading about them in a Wirecutter review (wanted to make sure I was ordering from a reputable vendor). I like that they come in black as well as white, and have two types (ear loop and head band). The fit is great, with the nose wire easily moldable, a fair bit of "space" so that you don't fell closed in, and comfortable ear loops. I haven't worn one for an extended period of time yet, but hope that the comfort/fit will continue with all-day wear.

    This was a terrific deal on KN5 black masks. But they are too small for my singers. I gave one to my grandson and will donate the rest to a local school chorus. (I didn't see any choice of size when I ordered.)
