The Black Powecom ® KN95 personal respirator, which ships from stock directly from our Mount Vernon, NY warehouse, is a respirator face mask made of a multi-layer filtration system of non-woven breathable fibers and is utilized globally. The Powecom ® KN95 filtration material has been tested multiple times by NPPTL and the CDC and has tested well above 95% filtration of particles 0.3 µm (microns) or larger. Made to Current GB2626-2019 Standard
The Powecom KN95, made to the new standard, will be the same size, shape and use the same production process. The improvement will be from the new melt blown polypropylene cotton filter layer which will upgrade the breathability factor (respiratory resistance) of the mask. This new enhancement will help make it easier to breathe for the user while still offering filter efficiency greater than 95%.

MATERIAL:

  • 46% non-woven polypropelene, 28% melt-blown fabric, 26% ES hot air cotton.
  • Ear loops: Latex free
  • Nose piece: Adjustable metal

FEATURES:

  • Construction: Multi-layer filtration system of non-woven soft and breathable fibers.

CARE AND USE:

  • Keep the face mask clean before use. Do not touch the rear side of the face mask.
  • Do not wash the face mask with water. Water will destroy the filtering ability and protective nature of the mask.
  • Do not steam the face mask or put it in the microwave.
  • Keep the face mask away from vapor, oils, chemicals, paints, liquid, acid, and alkaline objects.
  • Make sure to discard the face mask when it becomes visibily dirty or breathing resistance increases remarkably.

  • KN95 mask is not intended for use as a surgical mask or to provide liquid barrier protection.

    We recently purchased these in black and white to wear while flying and during a cruise. Elected not to go on the cruise but loved them for the flight and are wearing them for grocery shopping, etc. Very comfortable and great fit.

    My concern with these masks is that an N95 style mask is useful only when fitted well. With these, the fit over our noses is very poor, on both adult and kids sizes. The wire is either not long enough or not strong enough to hold the shape over the bridge of our noses. My husband also find that the ear loops don't really reach his ears like they do mine. I am inclined to rely on surgical masks modified for a better fit over these, unfortunately.

    These days trusting your mask is essential. I had other "supposed" KN95 masks but this is clearly thicker and now the only one that I trust given outside confirmation and their own way of verifying. It fits snuggly on the face but is still very comfortable. Plan on buying more as this pandemic doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.

    fogs my glasses, too much air is...

    I know this mask is supposed to be a KN95, but it seems like way too much air is coming out. I'm getting a good seal on the nose, it's just that so much air comes out everywhere that my glasses are only ever fogged. My other KN95s are great and don't do this.
