Masks fit me well, are comfortable, and help me feel protected. Gave some to a friend, however, and the mask was too small to fit her comfortably. Just a good thing to know that one size doesn’t necessarily fit all. Nonetheless, I’m very happy with my purchase.

After realizing I would probably be masking up for the indefinite future, I decided to conduct a thorough search for that "special" mask that would address any concerns I might have with the overall protection and comfort offered by the masks. The following is an objective synopsis of my search. Assuming I would be wearing facial coverings for the duration, I required a mask that would offer the highest level of protection while allowing me to breathe with minimal difficulty. The cloth masks I had been using, aside from only providing the barest of protection to others, did not fit snuggly, steamed my glasses profusely, and constricted my breathing the entire time I wore them. And the purpose of the masks was to protect others! After all, wearing a mask is showing respect for others; if only they were more comfortable. I critiqued dozens of masks, literally. Almost all of them cost more; in one case, a single mask was priced at $45.00 although the manufacturer claimed it would retain it's durability and efficacy after 55 washings. Most others sold for 2 to 4 times what a single Bona Fide mask cost although several masks were comparable; the great majority of the less expensive masks were manufactured in China. Finally I decided to trust an American company owned and operated as a family- style business. The price for ten masks cost $8.70 and it was shipped within five days. Of course, if the product did not corroborate the company's promises, then the cost would be immaterial. After wearing the masks on 7 or 8 occasions, I was surprised at the results. First, the mask fit so securely and comfortably, I sometimes forgot I was masked. Not once did it become an irritation. Additionally, and this was an eye-opener, the mask did not fog my glasses. Imagine that. Secondly, the mask retained it's shape and comfort throughout it's usage. Although I only masked up on a limited number of occasions, I cannot tell the difference between the mask I wore and the ones not yet utilized. I suspect all ten masks will pass the test of sturdiness over time. Finally, as mentioned earlier, this is a product made in the good old U. S. Of A. Made by a family-operated business. All things considered, I buy American whenever possible. The only concern I have is how long the masks will last without compromising their integrity. Since they are considered disposable, they cannot be washed or steamed in the microwave. According to the website, the mask should be discarded once it becomes "dirty." However, I have worn the first mask for a total of approximately 25 minutes and there has been no noticeable degradation in it's appearance. Since I only mask up several times a week while shopping, this is the perfect covering my face craves. Extrapolating these figures, I suspect each of the ten masks to last a month at the bare minimum. If correct, my final cost will equal less than ten dollars over a ten month period. Granted, I don't wear a covering for extended periods so these masks will probably last longer than ones worn by those who spend longer periods covered. But I expect the masks will exceed their longevity as time progresses. Too summarize, in my humble opinion, Bona Fide Masks provide optimal protection with superior comfort. I believe I have chosen the best masks on the market, irrespective of the cost, and wholeheartedly recommend this product without reservations.
