The Powecom KN95, made to the new standard, will be the same size, shape and use the same production process. The improvement will be from the new melt blown polypropylene cotton filter layer which will upgrade the breathability factor (respiratory resistance) of the mask. This new enhancement will help make it easier to breathe for the user while still offering filter efficiency greater than 95%.

CARE AND USE:
- Keep the face mask clean before use. Do not touch the rear side of the face mask.
- Do not wash the face mask with water. Water will destroy the filtering ability and protective nature of the mask.
- Do not steam the face mask or put it in the microwave.
- Keep the face mask away from vapor, oils, chemicals, paints, liquid, acid, and alkaline objects.
- Make sure to discard the face mask when it becomes visibily dirty or breathing resistance increases remarkably.

Thinner than my previous KN95 but more breathable. Nose bridge strip doesn't stay secure when pressed down. Elastic band becomes loose after the first wear. Not sure if I'm a fan.

Decent KN95 mask, need extra nose clip, good...
The KN95 over-the-ear models are many, and varied. This is a decent one. Slight odor from manufacturing, but it quickly goes away. I highly recommend an additional nose clip as these are the standard small, and not tight-holding clips. To get a good seal, you need thick, strong nose clips, otherwise they just spring back a bit and you lose the seal - leaks. For what it is, it's a good product. We are now using N95 over-the-head models for indoor/medical environments as they are significantly more reliable, sealed, and have thick/padded nose clips. It's a night and day difference between the KN95 and N95 over-the-head versions.

I found these masks easy to breathe in. They fit fairly well and the bands behind the ears are snug yet not uncomfortable. I gave a four star rating because I had problems with my glasses steaming up on cold days. I don’t know if this due to the mask itself or my not wearing it correctly. I will order more masks, nevertheless. They come in packets of ten which is convenient for me. Also, company is recommended by the Wirecutter which I trust.

I found my Bona Fide KN95 mask to fit well overall, though after 1 hour the elastic around my right ear felt too tight. It was uncomfortable. However, the seal around my nose and mouth was far superior to the medical masks I had been wearing. I had no issues breathing - I was at a chorus rehearsal so this was a concern. I recommend these masks, but if you have a wide face they might not be comfortable around the ears.
