New Canaan Police Department Receives 50,000 Mask Donation from Bona Fide Masks
It was a great day to do something good. That’s why Bona Fide Masks™
delivered 50,000 masks as a donation to the New Canaan Police Department (NCPD).
“I am extremely grateful for the masks because it allows us to be able to distribute them to the entire community through emergency services, community housing, senior centers and more,” commented Lt. Jason Ferraro.
Bill and Jim Taubner, who lead its Bona Fide Masks™ division, said: “It has been our privilege to be able to give back to communities like New Canaan. It’s a small way that we can help to keep all of our families and communities safe during these challenging times by offering FDA- Authorized masks, NIOSH-Approved masks and disposable masks.”

As the world's largest manufacturer of ball chain and related products, the family-owned company has a history of adapting its production capabilities to address global challenges. So, when a New York community leader approached Ball Chain to make masks for local hospitals and healthcare professionals, the company used its experience in dealing with overseas markets to vet a wealth of manufacturers and create a reliable supply chain for authentic, high quality masks. Bona Fide Masks™ now distributes masks both locally and across the U.S.
The company’s objective is to help alleviate the shortage of personal protective equipment during the current public health emergency.
