The Powecom KN95, made to the new standard, will be the same size, shape and use the same production process. The improvement will be from the new melt blown polypropylene cotton filter layer which will upgrade the breathability factor (respiratory resistance) of the mask. This new enhancement will help make it easier to breathe for the user while still offering filter efficiency greater than 95%.

CARE AND USE:
- Keep the face mask clean before use. Do not touch the rear side of the face mask.
- Do not wash the face mask with water. Water will destroy the filtering ability and protective nature of the mask.
- Do not steam the face mask or put it in the microwave.
- Keep the face mask away from vapor, oils, chemicals, paints, liquid, acid, and alkaline objects.
- Make sure to discard the face mask when it becomes visibily dirty or breathing resistance increases remarkably.

Good quality...
I bought the black behind the head style K94 after the review in the New York Times. They arrived promptly and fit snugly but not uncomfortably and make me feel confident about grocery shopping in tight quarters during the pandemic. They do seem to exacerbate “mask breath” compared to a cloth mask, but sliding it down briefly when you’re outdoors and safely distanced solves that problem.

Great...
I purchased two styles - over the head and earl loop - and they both fit very well. The fit is snug without too much pressure. I prefer these over the looser fitting pleated masks. Will order again.

Strap broke...
As I pulled it over my head to fit for the first time, the strap immediately broke off from the mask, rendering it useless. I’m disappointed at how poorly this is made.

KN-95 no, but N-95...
I ordered N-95 masks that have bands that go around the head. They are superior to hospital ones that I wore in the OR (I am now a retired doc). They are the best I bought this past year and would rate them 5 stars. The black ones have been shunned by family and friends I tried to give them to. They are flimsy looking and have poor coverage of the face. All of them still sit in the packages.

I read about Bona Fide Masks in a New York Times article about where to find legitimate masks for the pandemic. With too many unverified choices in places like Amazon, it was baffling to figure out which masks were the real deal. With Bona Fide Masks I felt secure in my choice. It took a little longer than I expected to receive the masks but they arrived in a reasonable time frame and were exactly what I needed. The Powecom KN95 headband style masks I received are well constructed and provide a stronger seal around the face than previous KN95 masks I've used that only had ear straps. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will be ordering more of these masks in the future. Thank you, Bona Fide Masks for making this very important choice easier to navigate.
