The Powecom ® KN95, made to the new standard, will be the same size, shape and use the same production process. The improvement will be from the new melt blown polypropylene cotton filter layer which will upgrade the breathability factor (respiratory resistance) of the mask. This new enhancement will help make it easier to breathe for the user while still offering filter efficiency greater than 95%.

CARE AND USE:
- Keep the face mask clean before use. Do not touch the rear side of the face mask.
- Do not wash the face mask with water. Water will destroy the filtering ability and protective nature of the mask.
- Do not steam the face mask or put it in the microwave.
- Keep the face mask away from vapor, oils, chemicals, paints, liquid, acid, and alkaline objects.
- Make sure to discard the face mask when it becomes visibily dirty or breathing resistance increases remarkably.

- KN95 mask is not intended for use as a surgical mask or to provide liquid barrier protection.

Overpowering chemical...
I am trying to get a refund. The masks have an overwhelming chemical (toxic) smell and I will not wear them due to fear of becoming sick.

masks are entirely too tight for adult...
The elastic on these masks is extremely tight -- the tightest I've had on any mask yet, both the ear elastic versions and the neck/head elastic versions. They are unwearable as-is for any length of time. I don't know why Wirecutter gave them such good ratings. SO, the masks are child-sized but Bona Fide Masks seems like a good outfit. Don't buy Powecom unless you have a very small skull.

A bit...
One of the the articles I received was wrong: I specifically ordered individually packed masks, which was more expensive than the masks that come in a single combined plastic package; and ended up receiving the cheaper non-individually packed masks, meaning that I payed too much. What‘s even more disappointing and very questionable is the fact that the plastic packages used for the masks are not sealed but can be opened and closed super easily, and there is no guarantee that they have not been opened by someone else before me. That is, Someone could have ordered them, tried them out, put them back neatly and returned them to Bona Fide, who resend the product to someone else. Their injustice no way to tell. The idea of putting a tight mask against my face that has possibly already touched someone else’s face makes it very uncomfortable to use. Packages for face masks should be sealed!
