These protective face shields are made of transparent PVC and have an elastic fastener/headband. With a soft foam forehead pad, this durable face protection is anti-fog and suitable for medical purposes or for use by the general public. Face shields are intended for single use or multiple uses by the same user when properly disinfected in accordance with guidance provided by the CDC and EPA. - Face shields are made by factories that have FDA certificates of registration. FDA registration certificate is here.
- Face shields are also made at factories that have CE certificates of compliance. CE compliance certificate is here.
- Remove protective film from face shield prior to use.
- First, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
- Then, use your fingernail to scratch the top corner of the face shield back and forth a few times to dislodge the protective film.
- Next, gently insert your fingernail in between the face shield and the protective film.
- Finally, while holding the face shield firmly in one hand, gently peel back the protective film with your other hand.

Great mask!
It fits closer to the face - thus offering more protection - than others I’ve used. With the surge in Covid infections I wanted a better mask and this it. It’s also comfortable.

The clarity of the shield is poor quality, so if you have to read or write with it on, everything is blurry. It also strains your eyes after wearing it for a few hours.

Face Shield: remove the layer of film
Earlier I posted a review stating that the plastic face covering for this face shield was too cloudy and distorting to be useful. Now I see in one photo that there's a thin plastic film over the surface that should be pulled off before wearing! Now I can say that the plastic cuts down clarity perhaps 5% instead of 20%. Still not so great for a long shift reading printed material, but do learn from my mistake: try the mask after pulling off the film adhering to the outer surface.
