These protective face shields are made of transparent PVC and have an elastic fastener/headband. With a soft foam forehead pad, this durable face protection is anti-fog and suitable for medical purposes or for use by the general public. Face shields are intended for single use or multiple uses by the same user when properly disinfected in accordance with guidance provided by the CDC and EPA. - Face shields are made by factories that have FDA certificates of registration. FDA registration certificate is here.
- Face shields are also made at factories that have CE certificates of compliance. CE compliance certificate is here.
- Remove protective film from face shield prior to use.
- First, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
- Then, use your fingernail to scratch the top corner of the face shield back and forth a few times to dislodge the protective film.
- Next, gently insert your fingernail in between the face shield and the protective film.
- Finally, while holding the face shield firmly in one hand, gently peel back the protective film with your other hand.

Item is fine ... once you figure out how to...
The shield is clearly marked that you need to remove the protective sheet ... which I found totally impossible to do. In fact I could not even see that there was such a thing, even after slicing one into a cross section and examining it under high magnification. Finally I discovered if you take a razor blade and repeatedly scrape at a spot on the *front* surface, a spot away from the region you will be looking through, you can eventually raise a large enough portion of the coating that you can then pull off the rest using your finger nails. There is absolutely no reason it should be this difficult to figure out, and this labor intensive once you have figured it out. A small tab in the corner marked "LIFT HERE" and not attached to the underlying shield would make all the difference in the world. It doesn't have to be that hard. Once that's over with, the shield itself is fine. No further complaints.

We got these to use in addition to the KN95 masks for times when we are stuck in places where we can't properly distance. They are comfortable and the shield is clear and easy to see through.
