We have another great — and easy — idea that would go a long way in saying “thank you!” to any first responders you know, or the police, fire, and EMT departments in your community: order them some safe masks.

October 28 is the national day of honor for these everyday heroes
Today is National First Responders Day, which honors “the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and all those who are first on the scene in stressful situations.”
Unfortunately, 2020 has been especially stressful as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, wildfires, and other national crises.
So, we take a special moment today to celebrate these wonderful humans, their bravery, and their dedicated service during these challenging times.
As noted by National Today, one of the best ways to thank a first responder is by “showing emotional, sincere gratitude — but baked goods generally work too, especially at the firehouse”! If you’re able, other suggestions are to help raise money to fund equipment and resources for first responders, or to volunteer your time and support.
We have another great — and easy — idea that would go a long way in saying “thank you!” to any first responders you know, or the police, fire, and EMT departments in your community: order them some new, high-quality masks. Shortages persist is some areas of the country, due to budgetary or other considerations. But frontline workers need and deserve authentic, reliable masks to help keep them safe throughout this pandemic and beyond.

A Way To Say Thank You
We have another great — and easy — idea that would go a long way in saying “thank you!” to any first responders you know, or the police, fire, and EMT departments in your community: order them some safe masks like the KN95 or N95. Shortages persist is some areas of the country, due to budgetary or other considerations. But frontline workers need and deserve new, top-quality masks to reliably keep them safe throughout this pandemic and beyond.
